| Abstract |
A novel sandwich-type supercomplex, namely \[Er(TETA)](2)Er(H2O)(8)\NO3 center dot 10H(2)O(1), has been self-assembled through the conjoined hydrogen bonds by using a tetraaza-functionalized macrocyclic polyamine ligand, showing complete incorporation of the octahydrate lanthanide cation between the second coordination spheres. |
