Presenting the IST-UTL NMR Center of the Portuguese NMR Network

Objectives

Our activities fulfill completely the main Objectives defined for the Portuguese NMR network, namely to support all research undergoing in the IST campus, to provide the training to students and other members of the scientific community, and to other NMR-related services to the scientific community and industry.
Our primary objectives are:
• to provide a continuous support to research groups and centres that use NMR facilities at IST Campus;
• to run I&D projects in various areas of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological and Chemical Engineering and Materials Sciences;
• to increase and to maintain the high level of scientific research by applications of novel techniques and methodologies available at NMR facilities;
• to develop and to implement novel doctoral and master programs in Chemistry, Biochemistry and Biological and Chemical engineering.

Activities performed by the IST-UTL Center of the Portuguese NMR Network include: I&D activities, Training Activities (organization of the Training courses and Conferences and providing a support to the Doctoral and Master Programs), and Services, which facility offers to the external groups and collaborators.
