The Molecular Thermodynamics & Engineering group is renowned for contributing to sustainable circular processes, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, and chemical applications while innovating in areas such as CO₂ capture and nanomaterials design. The group aims to research thermodynamic and transport properties and hydrophobic eutectic solvents toward sustainable energy, molecular dynamic simulations, membrane separation and cryopreservation, new phase change materials toward pharmaceutical applications and implement QSPR tools to improve chemical processes.
