Petra Uhlmann in Chemforum

Petra Uhlmann will be the next Chemforum speaker next Friday, the 10^th of November, at 11:00 in QA1.1. Petra Uhlmann studied chemistry at the Dresden University of Technology and got her PhD at the Institute of Physical and Electrochemistry, TU Dresden, Germany. She spent a year as a postdoc at CNRS Mulhouse, France. She is head of the Department of Nanostructured Materials at the Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden, Germany, and chairperson of the scientific board and member of the steering committee of the Deutsche Forschungsgesellschaft für Oberflächenbehandlung e.V. Her research interests comprise nanostructured polymer and hybrid surfaces and thin films and their applications, the physical chemistry of surfaces and interfaces, and characterization of (nanostructured) surfaces, including nano-biointerfaces and energy materials.
