Best Oral Communication Award to Gonçalo Justino

Gonçalo Justino received the Best Oral Communication Award at the 15^th National Organic Chemistry Meeting (15ENQO) and the 8^th National Medicinal Chemistry Meeting (8ENQT), this week in Faro. Gonçalo Justino has been honoured with the Best Oral Communication Prize at the 15ENQO/8ENQT. The recognition is a result of Gonçalo’s presentation on the application of integrated omics and mass spectrometry tools to unveil the impact of COVID-19 on biochemical pathways. In his study, Gonçalo utilized integrated omics and mass spectrometry techniques to gain insights into the molecular aspects of COVID-19 and its effects on biochemical pathways. The research aims to contribute to a better understanding of disease progression and enhance preparedness measures. This research has the potential to inform on short-term strategies for disease preparedness and intervention at the point-of-care.
