Front cover of Journal of Physical Organic Chemistry

A paper by João P. Telo and M. Fernanda N. N. Carvalho was invited for the front cover of volume 36, issue 11 of the Journal of Physical Organic Chemistry. The paper deals with mixed valence radical anions of  bis(dioxaborines) with aromatic bridges that were studied by analytical techniques (Vis/NIR spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry) and theoretical calculations. In the radical anions with three aromatic rings on the bridge, solvents are able to change the localization of the charge.
