Reorganization in 2024

The dynamics and size of the research groups led to a reorganization in 2024. Until 2023, CQE researchers were organized into eleven multidisciplinary groups reflecting their scientific interests and CQE’s history. Following the advice of the external advisory board, a new structure was adopted, reducing the groups to six scientifically coherent units. This change aims to build critical mass in specific areas, foster brainstorming, generate novel ideas and breakthroughs, and enhance research excellence and visibility. These groups are organized into specialized laboratories with shared resources and an open-door policy for training researchers and students.
